Packed. Not Impossible.

Everything looks so bare now…

Today is the day before moving day.  Actually, moving days, but not sure that the cleaning of the old place on Sunday really counts.  It feels strange that, other than furniture, I have managed to get my entire life into about 25 boxes.  Ebay helped, but not as much as I was hoping!

Still, it is what I intended and the focus on getting my stuff trimmed down does seem to have worked.  There is a whole bunch of things that I will be freecycling in the next couple of months too, which will also get the volume down – and in a great way too.

Am starting to look to the longer plan now and getting things lined up for the trip back to the UK.  Flights have been checked (but not booked) and the accommodation is all under control (through a most generous friend).  Work projects are falling into place and generally all is good there.

Best of all, I get to do that thing I have always wanted to do – Summer in Sydney followed by summer in London.  So I miss winter altogether.  Fabulous!

Off to dinner now for a well-deserved glass of wine with a friend before the labours of tomorrow…
