I have been living abroad for 14 years now.  Having left the UK for a two year position in Asia, I ended up living in The Philippines for two-and-a-half years and then Singapore for over 5.  After a year of travelling I found myself in Sydney, Australia and have been settled here since 2008.

This blog has been started to try to document the ups-and-downs of living overseas – no matter how long you have been away, there are always times that you miss your home country and things about your new home that frustrate you.  Hopefully always outweighed by the sheer excitement of doing something that many people only dream about – living in a new country and being a foreigner.
